Das elektro-akustische Trio Hughes/Scherzberg/Wiese, in Hamburg und Berlin beheimatet,

spielt seit über 4 Jahren zusammen und hat in diesem Zeitraum nicht nur einen eigenen

Kollektivklang, sondern auch ein eigenes handwerkliches Prinzip entwickelt.

Klangliches Ausgangsmaterial für Wieses Part im Trio sind ausschließlich von ihm aufgenommene

Scherzberg-Hughes-Duos. In Konzerten der Gruppe treffen die zwei improvisierenden Akustiker

auf ihre elektronisch verfremdeten Spiegelbilder.

Michael Renkel (Berlin) studierte von 1990-1994 am Hamburger Konservatorium klassische Gitarre,

und entwickelte seit den späten 1980er Jahren seinen eigenen Stil, der die Präparation des

Instrumentes sowie avancierte Spieltechniken beinhaltet. Er beschäftigt sich zudem mit

aleatorischer Komposition, variabler Form und Struktur sowie Notation. Renkel hat 2009 mit

Nicolas Wiese an gemeinsamen Live-Elektroakustik-Stücken zu arbeiten begonnen, und wird das

Trio somit an diesem Abend passend erweitern.

Noyade

Noyade is a duo of frontmen – David Lemoine leads the Parisian garage outfit Cheveu, whilst Erik Minkkinen fronts the experimental rock band Sister Iodine. Their projects have a lot in common, and this shared ground makes their improvisations as Noyade coherent – guitar, voice and electronics collide to form detailed webs of spontaneous sound.
Their Pop – experimental compromise consists in a pop music stucture: everything is layed down in three minutes, but then, the tracks exist only once. They improvise: collide, experiment whirlwinds, waves, layers, and mutiple distortions. The result is undoubtedly aquatic, sometimes uterine. A real ride in an undefined color submarine.
